About me
I have been a guide for 17 years. My journey started with wild animals in the rugged beauty of the klein Karoo. Here I guided guests from all over the World, on a 60 000 Hectares Wildlife Reserve, exploring a vast and arid landscape. It was in the Karoo that I discovered my passion for Botany and Geology. The incredible diversity of succulent plants, their unique survival strategies and adaptations was and is fascinating to me.
My love for Mountains goes back as far I can remember. Here in the Western Cape, we are so blessed having these giants right on our doorstep. This is my favourite playground, my place of solitude. It is in the Mountains and foothills in the Winelands of our fairest Cape, that I most enjoy accompanying visitors from abroad as well as my fellow South Africans on guided nature hikes through the incredibly diverse Fynbos!
